With this first concept of the Christian Ragazzoni Studio (CRS), on the day of the anniversary of his death, we pay tribute to a pillar of Italian comics and more. Thanks Paz!

Making of

This image has haunted my thoughts from the first moment I heard about the title of this TV series.

A year later I can finally see it realized brilliantly by CRStudio.

The figure of Andrea Pazienza, probably the author of the most influential Italian comics scene, it was raised to myth, as often happens, at the time of his untimely death - he was 32 years old - presumably due to fatal overdose.

Not only defined an era with its unique tables controversial, given birth in the smithy of Bologna that was, but he has seduced and contaminated hordes of modern authors, who must be accompanied by the work of their immense precursor.

With our concept of this illustration, I hope not to offend anyone, let alone the memory of the great Paz, who liked a lot the sturiellet!

Con questo primo concept da parte del Christian Ragazzoni Studio (CRS), nel giorno della ricorrenza della scomparsa, rendiamo omaggio ad un pilastro del fumetto italiano e non solo. Grazie Paz!

Questa immagine ha ossessionato i miei pensieri dal primo momento in cui sono venuto a conoscenza del titolo di questa serie tv.

Ad un anno di distanza riesco finalmente a vederla realizzata egregiamente dal CRStudio.

La figura di Andrea Pazienza, probabilmente l’autore più influente del panorama fumettistico italiano, si è innalzata a mito, come spesso accade, al momento della sua prematura morte – aveva 32 anni – presumibilmente dovuta ad un’overdose fatale.

Non solo ha segnato un’epoca irripetibile con le sue controverse tavole, partorite nella fucina della Bologna che fu, ma ha sedotto e contaminato orde di autori moderni, che non possono prescindere dall’operato del loro immenso precursore.

Con questo nostro concetto d’illustrazione, spero di non offendere nessuno, tantomeno la memoria del grande Paz, a cui piacevano un sacco le sturiellet!
